Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The third Monday of every January is designated as Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, as a day to reflect on the achievements of the civil rights leader and on the civil rights movement as a whole. MLK Day is also the only federal holiday designated as a National Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.

Today, as we commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr., we are inspired by his commitment to service. We strive to embody this same commitment through our acts of service and pursuit of justice
